For nearly two decades, Thomas E. Mooney has focused his practice on personal injury and wrongful death claims, insurance disputes and workers’ compensation claims. Mr. Mooney’s civil trial experience includes numerous complex disputes involving specialized medical, engineering and economic analysis. Mr. Mooney is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating given for legal ability and ethics.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, Mr. Mooney graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law where he was a member of the Florida Law Review. He also served a clerkship for the Honorable Patricia C. Fawsett, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Tom is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association. He has been selected as one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite and one of Florida’s Super Lawyers, multiple times. He is a second generation Floridian and lawyer. Tom, his wife Nicky, and two children live in the Orlando area where his father practiced law since 1963 until he retired in 2002. Tom practiced law with his father for four years.
